Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
1. Overview
This Shipping Policy applies to business-to-business orders supplied by Yuyue Home.
Our website is primarily used for product display and business inquiries. Shipping arrangements are not automatically confirmed through the website. The final shipping method, freight cost, delivery terms and responsibilities will be confirmed in the quotation, proforma invoice, purchase order, sales contract or other written agreement.
If there is any conflict between this Shipping Policy and the terms of a confirmed order document, the confirmed order document will take priority.
2. Order Processing and Production Time
Most hotel supplies are produced or prepared according to the buyer’s confirmed specifications, quantities, materials, sizes, colors, logos and packaging requirements.
Estimated production time begins only after:
- The required deposit or payment has been received
- Product specifications have been confirmed
- Artwork, logos or packaging designs have been approved
- Samples have been approved, when applicable
- All necessary order information has been provided
Production times are estimates unless a guaranteed completion date has been expressly confirmed in writing.
3. Shipping Methods
Available shipping methods may include:
- International express delivery
- Air freight
- Sea freight
- Rail or land transportation
- Delivery to the buyer’s freight forwarder in China
- Other shipping methods agreed in writing
The recommended shipping method will depend on the order quantity, product volume, destination, delivery schedule and buyer requirements.
4. Shipping Quotations
Shipping costs are normally calculated separately based on:
- Destination country, port or delivery address
- Total weight and shipment volume
- Shipping method
- Packaging requirements
- Customs-clearance requirements
- Fuel surcharges and carrier rates
- Insurance requirements
- Agreed trade terms
Freight quotations may change before shipment because carrier rates, exchange rates and surcharges can fluctuate.
A shipping quotation is valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
5. Delivery Time
Any delivery time provided is an estimate and is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
Estimated delivery time may include production, inland transportation, export handling, international transportation, customs clearance and local delivery.
Delays may occur because of:
- Carrier schedule changes
- Port congestion
- Customs inspection or clearance
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or labor disruptions
- Natural disasters
- War, civil disturbance or other events outside our reasonable control
We will provide available updates and reasonable assistance when delays occur, but we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. Trade Terms and Transfer of Risk
Shipping responsibilities, insurance, customs clearance, import duties and transfer of risk will be determined according to the confirmed quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract and agreed Incoterms® rule, when applicable.
Buyers should carefully review the confirmed trade term before making payment.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, no trade term should be assumed solely from information displayed on the website.
7. Shipping Address and Buyer Information
The buyer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including:
- Company name
- Contact person
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Delivery address
- Destination port or airport
- Postal code
- Tax or customs identification information
- Freight-forwarder information, when applicable
Additional costs or delays caused by incorrect, incomplete or changed information may be charged to the buyer.
8. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the buyer is responsible for:
- Import customs clearance
- Import duties
- Value-added tax or sales tax
- Customs brokerage fees
- Port or terminal charges
- Storage or demurrage charges
- Destination handling fees
- Other charges imposed in the destination country
The buyer is responsible for confirming local import rules, product standards, certification requirements and labeling requirements before placing an order.
We can provide available commercial documents and reasonable assistance, but we do not guarantee customs clearance in the destination country.
9. Shipping Documents
Depending on the order and agreed shipping terms, available documents may include:
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Bill of lading or air waybill
- Certificate of origin, when arranged
- Product-related documents agreed before the order
- Other documents confirmed in writing
Any special document, legalization, certification or inspection requirement must be communicated and confirmed before the order is finalized. Additional costs may apply.
10. Partial Shipments
Large or multi-product orders may be shipped in separate batches when necessary because of production schedules, product availability, transportation limitations or buyer requirements.
Partial shipments will be discussed with the buyer whenever reasonably possible.
Additional freight costs caused by buyer-requested partial shipments may be charged to the buyer.
11. Inspection Before Shipment
Buyers may request product photos, videos, samples or third-party inspections before shipment, subject to agreement.
The inspection method, inspection standard, inspection cost and acceptance criteria should be confirmed before production or shipment.
Approval of inspection results or authorization to ship does not remove rights relating to hidden manufacturing defects that could not reasonably be identified during inspection.
12. Damaged, Lost or Incorrect Shipments
Please inspect the shipment and packaging promptly after delivery.
Visible damage, shortages, incorrect goods or delivery discrepancies should be reported as soon as possible and normally within 7 calendar days after delivery.
Please provide:
- Order or proforma invoice number
- Photos or videos of the issue
- Photos of the outer and inner packaging
- Shipping labels
- Delivery receipt
- Carrier damage report, when available
- A description of the affected quantity
Do not discard damaged goods or packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
Claims relating to shipping damage or loss may also be subject to the carrier’s claim procedures and deadlines.
13. Failed Delivery and Storage Charges
If delivery cannot be completed because the buyer refuses delivery, provides incorrect information, fails to complete customs clearance or does not pay applicable destination charges, the buyer may be responsible for:
- Redelivery costs
- Return freight
- Storage charges
- Customs charges
- Port charges
- Disposal costs
- Other resulting expenses
Any refund or replacement will be considered according to the circumstances, confirmed order terms and our Return & Refund Policy.
14. Force Majeure
Yuyue Home will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, war, civil disturbance, strikes, transportation disruption, port congestion, power failure, material shortages or supplier interruption.
We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and communicate available updates.
